Mario Bottone

Mario brings more than 25 years of experience across technology-driven industries as a global executive, strategist, and practical, hands-on operator. He currently leads the Global Capital division at Lightspeed Commerce. Previously, Mario served as Head of Small and Medium Enterprise Operations at Purpose Unlimited and spent nearly four years as Chief Revenue Officer for its fintech division. Earlier, he held senior leadership roles—including General Manager and positions in operations, marketing, product management, and sales—at Monster.com, Workopolis, 2020 Technologies, and LGI Healthcare. He has operated across public companies, private equity-backed firms, and startups, and has also lectured at various colleges and universities on topics including marketing, digital strategy, and entrepreneurship.
